The project, Strengthening livelihoods for vulnerable and female headed households was implemented for 200 women by Rehabilitation Association and Agriculture Development for Afghanistan (RAADA) and funded by ARD. This project was implemented in Kohsan district of Herat Province in 2009.
Project Aim was to Improved following condition:
- Livelihoods basis of 200 rural households has been strengthened
- Beneficiaries are familiar with local market and have developed relationships to buyers
- Project beneficiaries are equipped with relevant skills and knowledge to meet the local market demand
- CDC is supportive of economic involvement of women and extremely vulnerable households
