Which was Conducted for the\nvery first time in Afghanistan. The Champion Awards identified Afghan men and\nwomen who have promoted women in economically, their social participation and\nhave supported their rights.In this program, those\nwho were chosen as champion who tried to support women socially and\neconomically. Rehabilitation Association and Agriculture Development for\nAfghanistan (RAADA) &nbsp;has implemented many projects for Increasing women\nempowerment in the society such as, Gender Awareness Raising, Literacy\nTrainings\/ Computer &amp; English Classes for Women, Solving the barriers on\nthe way of women through; Women and Uluma&#8217;s dialogue sessions and Awareness\nraising on women basic rights, Making women networking (1600 women), Women Lead\nProfit Company Establishment (Zanan-e- Herat Silk Production Company) that has\n750 members, Internship Programs for Girls,&nbsp; Tailoring for More than 100\nwomen and Milk Processing Center Establishment 28 Centers and created Job\nopportunity for 90 women.&nbsp;With regard to the\nactivities mentioned,&nbsp;Dr. Nazir Ahmad Ghafoori, RAADA director\nparticipated in the Champion Awards program and he was recognized as a champion\nby Ministry of Women Affairs and got the champion award. This is a major\nachievement both for the RAADA and its donors.In this program 10 champions were introduced\nform all over Afghanistan who worked for empower women economically and\nsocially. The Champion Awards is led by MoWA, with support from the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled, and civil society organizations including Empowerment Center for Women, Women Integrity for Society Empowerment Organization, and Afghanistan Learning Organization.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Champion Award, Oct, 28, 2018 Conducted by Ministry of Women AffairsThe Ministry of Women\u2019s Affairs (MoWA) is designed the Champion Awards.
