The project, Women of the Silk Road, a Training Center for Women of Zindajan was implemented for 1250 beneficiaries by Rehabilitation Association and Agriculture Development for Afghanistan (RAADA) and funded by Italian Cooperation to Improve silk rearing, silk processing, silk coloring and silk weaving skills and provision of silk worm eggs plus toolkits, silk processing machines and silk weaving looms to the women plus silk products marketing especially in Italy. This project was implemented in Zindajan district of Herat province in 2014.
